You don't need to start your gaze software to use Communicator 5 with eye tracking, it just needs to be installed. The learner can explore different parts of the screen with their eyes and see that different lights turn on depending on where on the screen they are looking. Open Eye-FX and select the Lights game from the list. Open Gaze Point, start it with the Play button and turn off Mouse Click. This is a great chance to introduce new vocabulary connected to what the user is looking at!. Respond to what the user is looking at when the curser moves across the screen, making sure to discuss what is happening in the photo at the parts the learner is looking at. Open a photograph so that it displays on the screen.
